I would propose to use 3dvia shape, a great online 3D design tool ...
... as well 3dvia.com as a warehouse to store the designs that could be viewed directly from redesignme.com with the embedded free 3dvia player.

and then you can store the design on the site and then publish in any other site !
You can even visualize from you Iphone using the 3dvia iphone application :-)

I'm sure that the 3dvia team will be more than happy to make this tool the redesignme 3D sketching tool !
