I don't know if this already exists, but why not make software to help the patient with his revalidation.
By using this software he can learn about its sickness, learn how to revalidate and learn how to live with it.
Ex. Diabetics: they can learn how to cook, how manny glucides they can eat and how to take care of this. The software should nog be an insipid book, but it would be nice to make someting interactive, with pictures, films, why not some cooking games...
This could be made for every type of sickness...
