Fresh and SubtileBy Stylite for Legacy Church
In this logo, I chose for a timeless, yet sophisticated font that has both curves and strong, straight lines. It emphasizes the warmth and love of a church and its community, while at the same time not being old-fashioned or unprofessional. A church and its community are a solid basis for people where they can find hope, quietness and trust, and I have tried to let this logo represent those concepts.
The cross is made from the L. To be honest, I could have made the curves on the top and the side curve better. The cross and the underlining represent new life and growth, in bright green with a subtile gradient to yellow. The logo is usable in a black and white version as well. However, the colours of life are a matter of taste, and although I would not recommend dark and dull colours, something like orange or purple could work just as well.
Last idea for improvement could be placing the word 'Church' under Legacy, a little to the right. It would make the logo in total more a compact square shape and maybe better usable for books and posters. I added a second image for a first impression of that.
