The glass is coated with a fluorescent material. The coating contains nanoparticles that convert light into fluorescent radiation.
Coat the inside of the glasses with reflective particles (not reflecting visible light)
Then illuminate point an InfraRed LED into the eyes from the frame.
and point the camera onto the glasses lens.
You will be basically analysing the reflection of the eye-movement in the lens, with no cameras protruding away from the device.
