Hi Erwtj3, Good idea. On the other hand, we sometimes get complaints from people saying they get too many emails. But I guess if all these options can be opted-out for in your account settings it will be a perfect solution.

Well, in some way I agree with those people. Because I don't feel the need to be alerted every time someone posts a redesign for a challenge I'm in. But the reasons I mentioned are, in my opinion, more important. So the perfect solution would be indeed a list of notification possibilities on your profile "check if you want to receive an email when ..." - A new challenge has been added - A challenge has ended - Redsigns have been rewarded - The deadline of a challenge has changed - A redesign has been posted - A redesign has been posted to a challenge you're participating in - A comment has been posted - A comment has been posted to a challenge you're participating in - A comment has been posted to one of your redesigns - You get a thumbs up/down on one of your redesigns - Someone has commented on a topic you created on the forum - Someone has commented on a topic you already commented on - ... That would be great. :)

For me the current Balance is okay. But I'm certain that it could be usefull to get more mails on stuff or at least more control over your redesignme mail.

Erwtje, you can allready receive some of these notifications from RedesignMe. Go to your settings in your profile and check the boxes so you'll get more updates.

Ik heb net geprobeerd om de bovenste drie aan te vinken (Nieuwsbrieven), maar dit lijkt niet te lukken; Ik vink de drie vinkjes onder "nieuwsbrieven" aan. De homepagina van mijn profiel wordt getoond met de melding dat de instellingen opgeslagen werden. Wanneer ik dan terug naar mijn account instellingen ga, zijn de vinkjes onder "nieuwsbrieven" weer verdwenen. Doe ik iets fout of zit er een foutje in jullie systeem?

@Erwtje The community updates show the latest challenges & redesigns. With community messages we send out notifications when we think something important has happened, new big challenge etc. Some other notifications you can receive by following a challenge. We'll look into the bug you reported!

Do we get an e-mail once every number of weeks? Because I didn't get an e-mail about the two new challenges, although in my settings I checked every checkbox to receive e-mails. Thanks in advance.

Hi Erwtj3, The community update is sent every week, 2 weeks or every month, depending on your settings. Only this week the update was sent just before the placement of 2 new challenges. That's why you missed it. We don't send an e-mail for EVERY new challenge because we don't want to spam.
