Terms Explained

What is a Redesigner?
A Redesigner is a member of our community. A Redesigner can be a designer, marketeer, inventor or any other creative person.
What is a Challenge?
A Challenge is a creative assignment on Redesignme Connect. Anybody looking for fresh ideas can start a Challenge. The members of our community respond by submitting ideas.
What are RDMs?
RDMs are credits. As a client you reward our community with RDMs in return for their ideas. As a Redesigner you can convert these RDMs into cash.
Why RDMs?
Because we have a global community and want to keep things the same for everybody. We don't want to bother anyone with changing currencies.
What can one do with RDMs?
Redesigners can spend their earned RDMs in our RDM Shop.
What's the difference between a STANDARD and a PREMIUM Challenge?
Simply said, clients pay more money for a PREMIUM Challenge. PREMIUM Challenges usually have a higher reward and are featured on our site and in our newsletters. Usually the time span of a PREMIUM Challenge is also longer.
How can I start a PREMIUM Challenge?
If you want to start a PREMIUM challenge you need to contact us.

For Companies

How can I set up a Challenge?
Setting up a Challenge is easy. Just use our New Challenge form.
How long will my Challenge run?
Your Challenge will run for a minimum of 3 weeks. You can buy extra weeks in the 3rd step of the New Challenge form.
I've just set up a Challenge. How long does it take for it to appear online?
Thanks for setting up a Challenge. It takes about 24 hours before we've reviewed it. But usually we're much faster! :)
Can or should I reward multiple ideas?
Because you usually receive many ideas in your Challenge, it's fair to reward 3 or more people. But if you want to reward only the best entry, ofcourse that's possible.
I'm not native English speaking. Can you review my Challenge text?
Yes, we can. If anything is unclear we will contact you. See the options in the 3rd step of the New Challenge form.
I don't have time to follow up every entry with feedback, can you do that for me?
Yes, our community managers can provide feedback in your name. See the options in the 3rd step of the New Challenge form.

How can I become a Redesigner?
Just use the Sign Up link in the top-right corner of the website.
Does it cost anything to become member?
No, joining the Redesignme Connect community is absolutely free.
If have submitted an idea. How long does it take before I know if I've won?
When the deadline ends, the client has a maximum of 4 weeks to decide who gets RDMs. If the client does not meet the deadline, we will decide who receives RDMs.
How can I close my account?
You can close your account in your profile page.

Where can I read your terms and conditions?
You can read the terms and conditions by joining our community or clicking on this link.
Is my personal information safe?
Privacy is very important to us. All private information submitted on your profile page will remain private and will only be used for our internal records. We do not sell any information to 3rd parties.
What happens to my intellectual property and copyrights when I participate in a Challenge?
The terms and conditions explain everything in detail. But in short: every idea, concept or design that you submit as part of a Challenge will become the property of the client. Even if you did not receive a reward for your contribution.
