Everybody knows that iceskates should be sharpened regularly but that for professional skaters the rounding underneath the skate and the bending of the irons is even more important is not widely known. The thread of the skate determines the skating-behaviour of the skater and therefore the performance.

In the iron a rounding is sharpened mechanically and the skating tube is formed to the wishes of the skater. The rouding as well as the bend is checked with measuring equiment on 3 points. If the skate is checked with the eye it's easy to make mistakes. This is a real improvement.
