About The Dutch Design Week
The Dutch Design Week (DDW) will be held from 23 till 31 October and is considered as the largest design event in The Netherlands. Around 1500 designers from The Netherlands and abroad present their work in the field of industrial design, concept design, graphic design, textiles and fashion, spatial design, food design and other design trends.

Design Rides
DDW is looking for designers for the Design Rides. Design Rides are specially decorated taxis that take visitors during DDW to and from any event in the city.

The Challenge
Design and create an object that can be placed on the roof of one of the Design Rides. The objects on the roofs of the Design Rides must be eye-catching and arousing public interest. They should immediately catch the attention of the public. This year’s theme is: ‘Design Bizarre’.

The winning Redesigns has the chance to be produced and driven around with on the roof of a taxi. Your Redesign will be visible to thousands of people!
