The ZKL 3000
The ZKL 3000 is a measuring device that creates a short in the rail track of an isolated track section and then monitors this particular short in track. This generates a "track in use" signal for the track circuit, as a result of which all signals for this section will automatically change to red. The track section is immediately closed to regular train traffic. This creates a safe protected work area for rail workers. The dimensions of the ZKL3000 are 400 x 140 x 100 mm.

The Challenge
Some users of the ZKL 3000 do not use the suitcase during transport to the jobsite although it is required. They find it to difficult and heavy to drag it along. (See pictures for the ZKL 3000 in and out the suitcase). Dual Inventive realizes that there has to be an alternative.

The challenge is to develop a carrying system that is fixed on the ZKL 3000, so the suitcase becomes obsolete.

Additional information
Our target audience are track workers (employees in rail track). These workers can be rough on their equipment, so the carrying system needs to be designed for use as well. We would like to see an impression (visual) of your ideas and a description that goes with it. The choice of materials and production techniques can be mentioned in the redesign, but are not a necessity. However, do remember that we make these products in relative small badges, so the carrying system will be produced in small badges as well.
